Umemba Health Academy is a division of Umemba Health LLC; a woman-owned, minority-owned public health workforce development consulting and training agency that helps public health organizations and healthcare systems to educate their workforce, empower their leadership, and expand their community presence to elevate the lives of the individuals and communities they serve.
Through workforce development consulting and training, we partner with organizations to inspire and equip the next generation of public health leaders. Our public and population health strategies improve individual development and organizational performance.
By utilizing a blend of conventional, experiential, and transformational training approaches, we craft engaging educational content, delivered across diverse platforms to provide exceptional learning experiences that nurture talent and create lasting impact inside the organization and within the community.
Our virtual campus, Umemba Health Academy, is approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide CHW and CHW Instructor certification and continuing education. (Certificate #64, Expiration 2/2025).
